During a trip last November, Treecolor Alliance immortalised the ratification of an agreement with the Emberà association of women artisans (AMARIE).

This agreement, as important as it is symbolic, is an essential step for our organisations. It helps shape our actions and engages both parties in a joint project aimed at protecting nature while creating sustainable jobs for local people.
A gathering that strengthens ties
Although travel is rare, volunteers work alongside them on a daily basis. This trip was an important opportunity to meet up again and strengthen ties despite the distance. It was also a way of reassuring the community, who prefers oral exchanges to written ones. Digital technology has its limits, so it’s essential for Treecolor Alliance to show its determination by coming to the field, to Ipeti and Piriati, where everything is at stake!
